logica & fallenstar (kinome) afterword
These are the end notes included in the third print volume of Logica & Fallenstar! There's nowhere you can look at the accompanying art online, so why not throw some money at Kinome so you can take a look? (Sample purchase links: Shinchosha, Kinokuniya)
These notes include mention of misgendering.
AFTERWORD
Thank you so much for reading Logica & Fallenstar all the way to the end.
I don't have anything pithy to say, so I think I'll just chat about the main characters instead.
FALLENSTAR: I put an even mix of boyishness and girlishness in a blender on HIGH to make them. They don't have any light in their eyes, so they tend to come out looking scary when I draw them in color, and I had a rough time with that. They don't have a canon sex. My impression is that a lot of readers think they're a girl.
LOGICA: His personality and appearance are both super easy to draw. My editor once told me I resemble Logica (in looks).
MR CEE: I originally intended him to be a much more freewheeling sort of character, but before I knew it he'd turned into a character whose dictionary hasn't got "free" in it at all. I want him to be happy.
ISAAC: It was incredibly helpful to have a character like him while writing this story. He has a lot of appearances, but I feel bad that he never quite got the spotlight.
ABEL: My first idea for him was that he would lose his temper and make all the bullies explode. Boy, am I glad I changed that! He still blew his big bro's head off, tho.
MISSUS GRACE: She and Nomnom both speak volumes about my love for self-sacrificing characters. I think that one day Nana will be able to bring back her heart, at the very least.
LUMO: Babie...
Thank you to everyone who has supported "Logica & Fallenstar"!
I hope we can meet again someday.
